Productbeschrijving
This PVC-U reducer Ø75 x Ø32 PN16 makes the transition from 75 mm to 32 mm in a pressure pipe. The outside is an Ø75 mm spigot that you glue into the solvent weld socket of a 75 mm pressure pipe or fitting. The Ø32 mm pressure pipe goes into the solvent weld socket on the inside. One part makes a short transition. The reducer is made of dark grey PVC-U by Dyka and has pressure class PN16, which stands for a nominal pressure of 16 bar. Use it in a PVC pressure pipe system, for example for irrigation, a pond or swimming pool installation or another water line under pressure, and join it with cement suitable for PVC pressure pipes. Order the reducer online or collect it from Houthandel Jan Sok at Celsius 10 in Meppel.
Key features
Why this reducer is practical:
- PN16: pressure class for a nominal pressure of 16 bar.
- Ø75 x Ø32 mm: transition from a 75 mm to a 32 mm pressure pipe.
- Spigot/solvent socket: glue the spigot into an existing socket and the 32 mm pipe into the reducer's socket.
- PVC-U: unplasticised PVC, the material of PVC pressure pipe systems.
- Dyka: pressure fitting from a Dutch manufacturer of plastic piping systems.
Applications
Suitable for, among others:
- Making a 32 mm branch on a 75 mm pressure pipe.
- Irrigation systems in gardens or greenhouses.
- Pond and swimming pool lines with a pump.
- Other PVC pressure pipes up to PN16.
Connects to
The reducer fits:
- PVC-U pressure pipe Ø32 mm, glued into the solvent weld socket.
- PVC-U pressure pipe or fitting with an Ø75 mm solvent weld socket, into which you glue the spigot.
Installation
Install the reducer in six steps:
- Cut to length: cut the 32 mm pressure pipe square, deburr it and lightly chamfer the edge.
- Dry fit: push the parts together without glue first and mark the insertion depth.
- Clean: clean and degrease the bonding surfaces with PVC cleaner.
- Glue: apply cement suitable for PVC pressure pipes to spigot and socket and push the parts fully together in one movement.
- Wipe: wipe off excess cement straight away.
- Let it cure: only pressurise the line after the curing time stated by the cement manufacturer.

Veelgestelde vragen
What does PN16 mean?
PN16 is the pressure class of the fitting and stands for a nominal pressure of 16 bar. Combine the reducer with pipes and fittings of at least the same pressure class.
Can I use this reducer in a drain pipe?
This reducer is intended for PVC pressure pipes. For a grey non-pressure drain line, choose a drainage reducer, such as an eccentric or concentric spigot/socket reducer.
Which cement do I use for a PVC pressure pipe?
Use a cement suitable for PVC pressure pipes and follow the cement manufacturer's working and curing times. Always clean the bonding surfaces with PVC cleaner first.
