Veelgestelde vragen

What is the difference between an eccentric and a concentric reducer?

On an eccentric reducer the small opening sits against the edge, so the bottoms of both pipes are level. You choose it for horizontal pipes. On a concentric reducer the opening is in the centre; it is usually used in vertical pipes.

How do I connect a 40 mm drain to a 75 mm pipe?

Use this reducer Ø75 x Ø40. Glue the spigot into the socket of the 75 mm pipe or fitting and the 40 mm pipe into the reducer's socket.

Do I need to glue the reducer?

Yes. Grey PVC drainage is joined with PVC solvent cement. Clean and degrease the bonding surfaces with PVC cleaner first, then push the parts fully together in one go.
