The Mohawk black powder-coated steel planter 60 x 120 x 60 cm is a large rectangular planter with a clean, contemporary appearance. Its generous dimensions provide ample room for ornamental grasses, perennials, shrubs, flowering plants or a green divider on a patio, in a garden or at an entrance. The matt black powder-coated finish creates a stylish contrast with greenery, timber, natural stone and modern paving. This Mohawk planter is made from 1.5 mm steel and finished with a black powder coating. The coating provides a neat appearance and protects the steel surface. The planter includes a base, making it a self-contained solution for outdoor planting. With a theoretical gross capacity of approximately 432 litres, this large version is suited to planting schemes that require generous root space. Position the planter on a level, load-bearing and well-draining surface. Fill it with a suitable drainage layer and quality substrate matched to the plant selection. Choose the final position carefully before filling, because the combined weight of steel, drainage, soil and plants can become substantial.

Follow these numbered steps for stable positioning and healthy planting.

3. Level the planter: Position the planter fully level to maintain even loading and a neat appearance.
4. Check drainage: Confirm that water cannot remain standing in the planter or beneath its base for long periods.
5. Add drainage: Fill the lower section with a suitable layer of clay pebbles, gravel or lava rock, matched to the planting.
6. Fill with substrate: Use quality potting compost or a suitable planting mix for the selected plants.
7. Plant at the right depth: Position plants with sufficient spacing and fill carefully around the root balls.
8. Water the planting: Water thoroughly after planting and tailor further care to plant type, season and weather conditions.
9. Maintain the finish: Clean the black coating with water and mild detergent; avoid abrasive products and repair damage promptly.
