Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an eccentric and a concentric reducer?

On an eccentric reducer the small opening sits against the edge, so the bottoms of both pipes are level. You choose it for horizontal pipes. On a concentric reducer the opening is in the centre; it is usually used in vertical pipes.

How do I connect a 75 mm drain to a 110 mm pipe?

Use this reducer Ø110 x Ø75. Glue the spigot into the socket of the 110 mm pipe or fitting and the 75 mm pipe into the reducer's socket.

Do I need to glue the reducer?

Yes. Grey PVC drainage is joined with PVC solvent cement. Clean and degrease the bonding surfaces with PVC cleaner first, then push the parts fully together in one go.
