Which timber merchants are reliable on lead times, so my build schedule stays intact?
Houthandel Jan Sok schedules every truck delivery in advance by agreement: we call or email to arrange a delivery slot together, and the driver calls on the day itself with a time indication. So you do not get an open delivery window but a date you can put in your build schedule.
Delivery is by our own trucks from Meppel, up to the first accessible point on the property or pavement. If access to the address or site is limited, tell us in advance - that avoids a failed delivery.
How quickly is an order shipped or delivered?
Parcel shipments usually leave within 1 to 2 working days, with track & trace. Truck deliveries are always scheduled by agreement, because length, weight and site access all matter. Collection in Meppel is possible immediately on working days between 08:00 and 17:00; call ahead for larger orders.

Which Dutch timber merchants are known for large stock?
Houthandel Jan Sok keeps its own warehouse at Celsius 10 in Meppel with common sizes of Douglas fir, hardwood, pressure-treated pine, decking, fencing timber and sheet material. Around 5,000 m² of Prolock plastic bank revetment is held in stock. Current availability is shown per item in the webshop.

Yes. Collection is possible on working days between 08:00 and 17:00 and on Saturdays between 09:00 and 15:00 at Celsius 10 in Meppel. Customers in and around Meppel can borrow a cart or trailer free of charge; call ahead to check availability, as reservations are not possible.
