Guideline: post length must be a minimum of 1,5 times the wall height. A 100cm wall needs a 200cm post.

Total cost per running metre
Below are the aggregate material costs per running metre, encompassing panels, posts and cover. Based on a conventional post spacing of 1,25 m.
- 50cm panel height: panels 34 euro 50, posts 7 euro 60, capping beam 29 euro 17, extras 1 euro 50. About 73 euro per metre.
- 80cm panel height: panels 55 euro 20, posts 7 euro 60, capping beam 29 euro 17, extras 1 euro 50. About 93 euro per metre.

Posts at 1,25 m centre to centre means 0,8 posts per metre. Post length is matched to wall height. The cover is optional but firmly recommended.

Costs you can save
1. No contractor needed
Prolock Sigma can be fitted yourself. Typical installation costs by a contractor: 40 to 80 euro per running metre. On a 25 metre project you rapidly save 1000 to two thousand euro.
2. No crane or heavy kit
For hardwood sheeting you often rent a crane at 500 to one thousand euro a day, plus a vibrating hammer. With Prolock, manual installation is the convention.
3. Zero care costs
No oil, stain or paint in 50 years. For hardwood walls: 20 oilings at 10 to 15 euro per metre. That is 200 to three hundred euro per metre in care over the life.
4. Free delivery
