Jarald sandpit is a square timber sandpit in impregnated pine, 120 x 120 cm and 24 cm high. The lid keeps leaves, cats and rain out when it is not in use, and folds open as a sitting edge. The pit is supplied as a kit, without a base and without sand. Lay weed-control fabric or a permeable ground separator under the pit, on a flat, drained spot. Then fill with play sand suitable for children. Impregnated pine is intended for outdoors. Check screws, lid and splinters periodically. This product is for private garden use.

Instructions for use

Build the pit, line the ground, fill with play sand and close the lid after use.

1. Choose a shady, flat spot: Avoid the hottest afternoon sun.
2. Make the ground level: Remove turf or fill hollows.
3. Lay weed-control fabric: Prevent weeds and keep sand and garden soil apart.
4. Assemble the kit: Set the sides square with the supplied material.
5. Check the lid: It must open and close smoothly and stay as a sitting edge.
6. Fill with play sand: Use clean play sand, not masonry sand.
7. Close after play: A closed lid keeps animals and leaves out.
8. Inspect timber and screws: Sand splinters away and retighten joints.
