Loran sandpit is a generous timber sandpit in impregnated pine, approx. 170 x 170 cm and 30 cm high. The extra height holds more sand than a low 24 cm pit. The lid protects the sand and offers sitting space along the edge. Loran is supplied as a kit, without a base and without sand. Place the pit on weed-control fabric on a flat, permeable surface. Allow for a larger quantity of play sand than with the 120 cm models. This is a private garden set. Check lid, screws and timber surface regularly for splinters and loose parts.

Suitable substrates

Instructions for use
Build, line, fill and close the pit in the same way as the smaller models, with more sand.
- Choose a spacious, flat spot: Allow walking space around the 170 cm pit.
- Level the ground: The high edge must bear evenly all round.
- Lay weed-control fabric: Prevent mixing with garden soil.
- Assemble sides and lid: Follow the instructions; check that the lid closes.
- Fill with play sand: Do not fill to the rim; leave play space and less spillage.
- Cover after play: Keep sand cleaner and drier.
- Maintain the timber: Sand splinters and retighten screws.
