Milan sandpit is a square sandpit in impregnated pine, 120 x 120 cm with a 30 cm upstand. Compared with Jarald (24 cm high), Milan holds more sand on the same footprint. The bench lid closes the pit and offers a seat during play. The product is a kit without a base and without sand. Place weed-control fabric on a flat, draining spot. Fill with play sand. Timber thickness of this type of pit is typically 16 mm planed pine. For private garden use. Check lid, screws and splinters regularly.

Instructions for use

Same build as Jarald, with extra attention to the higher sand fill.

1. Choose the spot: Flat, preferably partly in shade.
2. Level: The 30 cm wall must bear all round.
3. Lay weed-control fabric: Separate play sand from garden soil.
4. Assemble sides and bench lid: Check that both lid halves close.
5. Fill with play sand: Do not fill to the rim.
6. Close after use: Keep sand cleaner.
7. Maintenance: Retighten screws, sand splinters away.
